For the past 30 years Irish Paints Ltd have been supplying the Irish market with Sigma Tornol Truck & Bus Coatings including for the past 10 years Dublin Bus and Bus Eireann.

Today they are still one of the leading Suppliers but are now supplying, in addition to Sigma products:
PPG and HMG
Both world class Manufacturers of Truck & Bus Coatings
 

CURTAIN COATINGS

We mix and supply from Dublin a full colour range of Tarpaulin and Truck Curtain coatings. When properly applied these are virtually non removable and non cracking.
     

We supply Bodybuilders, Paint Sprayers, and Truck & Coach Operators, and have Distributors covering parts of Ireland in areas not serviced by us direct.
 
   
 
NEW SOLVENT REDUCTION LEGISLATION

Full details concerning matters affecting the application of paint to new buses, coaches and trucks and refurbishing of such vehicles available on request.

With a few exceptions - mainly specialist products - all truck and bus coating systems supplied by Irish Paints Ltd. are fully compliant with the new Solvent Reduction Legislation.

Two separate pieces of legislation will apply to specific segments of the Commercial Transport market, namely:

EU Directive 2004/42/CE
Otherwise known as Product Directive (PD) will apply to the Vehicle Refinishing and Repair sector
and
EU Directive 1999/13/EU
Solvent Emissions Directive (SED) will cover OEMS and Bus & Truck Coachwork Builders only
